There is Space to Breathe. There is Room to Grow.
Seeking therapy is a courageous first step. Whether you're navigating a major life transition, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, recovering from trauma, struggling with an eating disorder or addiction, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, my goal is to provide a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported.
I believe healing happens within the context of a trusting relationship. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that every person has an innate capacity for growth and healing. Together, we'll work to better understand the patterns that have developed over time, strengthen your connection to yourself, and help you move toward a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and authentic.
My Clinical Experience
Since 2012, I have had the privilege of working with adults, adolescence, and families in a variety of treatment settings, including residential, outpatient, and private practice. Much of my career has focused on supporting women as they address addictions, eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, infertility, and relationship difficulties.
I also work closely with parents, partners, and family members who are supporting a loved one struggling with addiction or an eating disorder. Watching someone you love suffer can leave you feeling frightened and exhausted. Through therapy and coaching, I help families better understand these illnesses, establish healthy boundaries, improve communication, and navigate their own lives with greater confidence and compassion—for both their loved one and themselves.
My experience includes working extensively with individuals navigating complex trauma and co-occurring mental health concerns. I have also worked with adolescents and families in crisis through Casa Youth Shelter, where I facilitated therapy and psychoeducational groups focused on developing healthy coping skills, emotional regulation, and communication.
Earlier in my career, I developed and led education-focused programs for young adults in recovery, helping them return to school, pursue career goals, and rebuild meaningful, fulfilling lives. That experience continues to shape my belief that recovery isn't simply about reducing symptoms—it's about creating a life that feels purposeful and connected.
Education & Training
I earned my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Fullerton, and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Bucknell University.
During graduate school, my research focused on the use of Somatic Experiencing® in the treatment of female adolescents with histories of childhood sexual abuse. Since then, I have continued advanced training in trauma-informed care and Somatic Experiencing, integrating these approaches into my work with clients experiencing trauma, anxiety, eating disorders, addiction, and other life challenges.
I consider it a privilege to walk alongside people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives, and I strive to provide therapy that is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in genuine human connection.
